Here at Jay’s Property Café, we take great pride in our property development projects, as they provide us with the opportunity to really showcase our skills and flair in putting our spin on current trends within the industry and current market. It’s essentially the process of developing buildings or land into a higher use value but it enables us to tap into our more creative side. We’ve been active on the property development scene for years now, in a cycle of changing properties to either sell them, or adding them to our list of rentals and growing portfolio of various projects we’ve worked on.

We carry out extensive research before choosing to develop a property, and what sounds like quite a simple process is in fact one that takes great planning and attention to detail. Before developing a property, we consider factors like social demographics, supply and demand, the local economy, targeted development and how profitable the project can be. Whether it’s minor improvements, conversion, or changing the use of the property altogether, this particular area of the industry is one we have come to know quite well. We go out of our way to ensure that we buy well, limit any risks and truly invest in the properties we work on, and years of trial and success have allowed us to refine our knowledge and as the result, the process.
